WARDOGS Beginner Guide
WARDOGS drops up to 100 players into a battlefield where three teams compete for control. New players should focus on Control Zones, teammates, cash management, and objective play instead of treating every fight like a solo deathmatch.
Understand the Three-Team Battle
WARDOGS matches feature three competing teams on the same battlefield. Watch both enemy forces instead of assuming every fight has two sides.
Build a Sensible Loadout
Use the persistent cash economy to buy weapons and equipment. Avoid spending your whole balance on expensive gear before you know how you want to play.
Move Toward Control Zones
Control Zones are the central objectives that generate the score needed to win. Move with your team instead of wandering the map for kills.
Capture and Defend Objectives
Help your team secure Control Zones, then defend them from both opposing teams. Objective control drives the victory condition.
Watch for Hot Zones
Hot Zones create especially valuable battlefield areas. Expect heavier fighting when teams converge on these locations.
Stay With Teammates
Large-scale battles reward coordinated movement. Nearby teammates provide covering fire, revives, transport, and prevent isolated deaths.
Use Support Actions
Reviving teammates and transporting players contribute to the team and interact with the money system. You do not need top kills to be useful.
Protect Your Economy
WARDOGS uses a persistent cash system with a $10,000 starting balance. Balance purchases against the risk of losing expensive equipment.
Play for the Winning Score
Kills help clear objectives, but controlling the battlefield is the larger goal. Prioritize actions that push your team to the winning score.
Quick Tips
- Three teams share every battlefield, so always watch two enemy forces.
- Objective control scores points; kills alone do not win matches.
- Revives and transport earn cash while keeping your squad fighting.
- Your $10,000 balance persists, so treat every purchase as an investment.
WARDOGS Economy and Money Guide
Cash connects battlefield performance to future equipment. Start with $10,000, earn money through useful actions, and avoid wasting your balance on gear you cannot use effectively.
Starting Balance
$10,000 initial balanceFunds your first weapons, equipment, and battlefield purchases.
Begin with practical equipment instead of committing most of the balance to expensive options.
Loadout Purchases
Costs cashPrepares weapons and equipment before entering combat.
Build around a clear combat role and keep money for later matches.
Objective Play
Earns moneyRewards contributing to the wider battle instead of kill farming.
Stay involved with Control Zones to help team score and your economy together.
Hot Zones
High-value opportunityCreates locations with extra incentive to fight and contribute.
Treat Hot Zones as high-risk areas and enter with teammates, never alone.
Reviving Teammates
Rewards support playReturns teammates to the fight and pays support-focused players.
Revive when the position is safe instead of creating another casualty.
Transporting Players
Rewards team transportMoves squads across the large battlefield for coordinated attacks.
Use transport toward useful objectives, not aimless driving.
Expensive Equipment
Large investmentDelivers stronger, more specialized capabilities at higher cost.
Buy big-ticket gear when it fits your plan and your balance can absorb it.
Vehicles
Higher-cost purchaseImproves mobility and supports transport or combat roles across the map.
Purchase vehicles when their team utility clearly justifies the cost.
Persistent Cash
Carries across matchesMakes spending and earning part of longer-term progression.
Plan several purchases ahead instead of judging every decision by one firefight.
WARDOGS Weapons and Loadouts Tier List
WARDOGS rewards players who build equipment around a clear job instead of buying the most expensive option. Compare practical loadout styles by role, range, and value inside the persistent economy.
A balanced infantry kit is the safest all-purpose choice because Control Zone fights shift between movement, defense, and direct combat, while keeping cash spare suits the persistent economy.
Long-range fire watches approaches, pressures exposed enemies, and supports teammates around objectives when you hold sightlines that actually matter.
A support-oriented kit gains value in coordinated squads because revives preserve battlefield presence through objective fights.
Specialized equipment shines when matched to a specific objective or threat but gives up the flexibility of a general infantry setup.
Heavy spending strengthens one deployment, but expensive gear must deliver enough impact to justify the financial risk in a persistent economy.
WARDOGS Control Zone and Team Strategy
WARDOGS uses a King-of-the-Hill-inspired Control Zone system where three teams race to the winning score. Objectives relocate across the battlefield, so mobility and squad coordination decide matches.
Fight for the Control Zone
The central goal is contesting the active objective long enough for your team to progress toward the winning score.
Treat objective control as the priority instead of judging success by kills.
React to Randomized Objectives
Control Zone locations change, forcing teams across the large battlefield instead of defending one permanent spot.
Keep transport options ready so the squad can rotate quickly.
Pressure Hot Zones
Hot Zones concentrate fighting and objective pressure into especially valuable areas.
Approach contested areas from multiple directions, never feed one route.
Stay Close Enough to Revive
Revives make squad cohesion valuable because nearby teammates maintain fighting strength after every engagement.
Do not spread so far that downed squad members cannot be recovered.
Use Transport for Rotations
Vehicles and helicopters move players across the battlefield and answer distant objectives fast.
Create useful presence with transport instead of driving into the biggest fight.
Create Long-Range Pressure
Sniping and ranged fire disrupt exposed enemies and help teammates attack or defend objectives.
Pick positions overlooking real routes and objectives, not empty map corners.
Coordinate Multiple Roles
WARDOGS blends infantry combat with transport, revives, fortifications, and artillery.
A squad covering several jobs outperforms five players doing the same thing.
WARDOGS Vehicles, Building and Destruction
The battlefield is more than a backdrop. Teams use transport, constructed defenses, artillery, and destructible terrain to move, hold ground, attack objectives, and reshape contested areas.
Ground Vehicles
Ground vehicles move players through the large battlefield and speed up rotations between combat areas.
Transport teammates, reinforce objectives, and cut travel time.
Helicopters
Helicopters reach areas that take far longer to approach on the ground.
Rapid deployment, repositioning, and moving squads to shifting objectives.
Forward Operating Bases
FOBs let teams establish useful positions closer to important fights.
Place infrastructure where it supports pressure without being trivially disrupted.
Fortifications
Fortifications strengthen positions around routes, objectives, and team infrastructure.
Protect vulnerable approaches and force attackers into bad engagements.
Artillery
Artillery applies pressure far beyond normal infantry engagement distances.
Coordinate heavy fire with teammates attacking or defending key areas.
Destructible Battlefield
Destructible elements mean cover and defensive positions are never guaranteed to last.
Expect firing positions and protected routes to change as destruction spreads.
Combined-Arms Coordination
Vehicles, infantry, construction, ranged support, and destruction work as one system.
Combine mobility, defenses, and direct pressure when hitting hard objectives.
